Blossom
My name is Blossom. I am only about a year old and I am cute as a button. I have an endearing underbite. I need to go to someone wanting a little girl who has lots of energy. I will be at a Meet & Greet soon and you can get the "scoop" on me from my foster mom.
Russ
I am one of the luckiest dogs ever! I was truly rescued by a man who went so beyond the call of duty. My guardian angel first saw me when he was out exercising. He tried to catch me but I was so frightened I made this a monumental task for him. But he persevered and he was able to catch me. I stayed in his home for a few days, where I spent the time relaxing and eating. He spent the time posting my pictures everywhere, as he was so convinced I had to have been loved and was now being missed by someone. He finally took me to the shelter in the hope someone would have a better chance of finding me there. Well, they did not come but my guardian angel did -- he visited me every day! When my shelter time was up, I became a Wee dog. Unfortunately, I was heartworm positive. I had my treatment along with all my tests. I then went to my new foster home where I am recovering, and I am doing great, by the way. I am a very lucky guy. Now I just need to find a forever home. I so want to thank my "special person" who did not give up on me and has donated money to Wee Rescue to cover all of my expenses. He knows I am worth it....
This young Shih Tzu LOVES stuffed animals! One by one each morning he pulls one from the pile and selectively places them all over the house. He picks them up at night and starts anew the next morning! This high-energy guy loves meeting people on walks. He holds firm in his belief as the Alpha Dog and loves to play --up to sitting on Foster Mom's head on the couch! And with his wits and smarts, he is destined to be The Star of any obedience class.

Deena
Meet young, energetic beautiful Deena. Her foster parents lovingly refer to her as Deena the Diva. She gets along well with her "foster brothers" and loves to play with them. Her coat is VERY soft. She does very well on her walks and is pretty much house trained. She loves to be held and petted and does well with grooming. A good fence is a must with Deena She can jump over a child's gate in the house with ease! She is cute (beautiful really), has a great personality, is very active and quite well behaved.
Meet a very sweet girl. Kara is a young dog that has been very neglected. She was spayed and had surgery on a bladder stone the size of a quarter. Kara has lived her very short life breeding for someone's financial gains. She is now in her foster home learning what a "real life" is all about. They have already said wonderful things about this great girl. She deserves a great home and lots of love.

Bernard
Please come to a Meet and Greet and visit our adorable one-eyed Peke, Bernard. He is very young and beautiful. His foster Mom will tell you all about him.
Lillie & Roo
These adorable black pekes have been sadly called "Dumpster Dogs." A good Samaritan rescued them from the trash at a convenience store. They were both injured and traumatized. They were taken to the area shelter. Both are young. Roo had one eye hanging from the socket and several unusual abrasions. His eye was removed. Lillie also had an eye injury. Her eye remains in the socket but she has little or no vision. Their remaining eyes are just fine. Little Lillie also had a broken jaw. That has been repaired. Both dogs, only three at the most, were also heart worm positive. They have been treated and are fine now.

Their personalities are wonderful. It is amazing to watch the love these poor animals have for life. They are great teachers. Mankind could learn a lot from them. Roo is more outgoing; Lillie, more reserved. They do not have to be adopted together. These two have suffered tremendously in their short lives. Wee will make certain their remaining years will be spent in a loving safe home. They have been blessed with a wonderful foster who now has them healthy, happy and ready for adoption.
Rascal
Rascal is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He is approximately 10 years old. He is a gorgeous dog who will provide years of love. The best way for you to understand just how special he is would be to attend a Meet and Greet and see this sweet boy in person. He is very deserving of a wonderful home.
